RARE ADOBE TRANSFORMATIVE CREATIVE LEARNER EXPERIENCE
COVID, and the prevailing edu-problem, prompts attention to NZ’s need to establish an eco-system of culturally responsive and creative education. The limitations of BYOD & online-assessment (of traditional subjects), often deceptively branded as “future skill developing” solutions, are really weak substitutes for mass delivery churn. They are proving to be investment challenges now posing a real threat to school agility and NZ #’s creative, socio-educational and or international outlook. Where many schools are actively adopting drivers for the ‘new normal’, establishing the shift to insight driven 1:1 teaching and learning, while clinging onto some 'sense of control' in de-centralised power "learning organisations" (pun intended), remains a formidable challenge. Thus, as creative-education arrives on set, it is 'Rare' for education technologies to provide both new insight driven on-prem, remote and on-demand learning orchestration capabilities for educators as well as genuine deep learning and life-relevant experience for learners. With cross curricula applicability, this piece reviews key Adobe platforms which suggest wiser investment choices for redefining 1:1 digital and remote learning experiences do exist.
ADOBE EDU CHAT
Was privelaged to have shared passions for education change with likeminded educationalists, from all over Australia/NZ, on Adobe's Edu-Chat. It was a wide ranging chat facilitated by Erin Raethke (Guru of Digital and Online Education) and Dr Tim Kitchen (Adobe's Genius for Creative Education and Transformation) https://www.pscp.tv/w/1lPKqLNwvjZxb [Click Play] Tremendous points emerged in the discussion, from Top Digital Learning Educator Lauren Sayer, on the prevelance and compelling need to shift education away from the low-grade application and tech. In short - given the need for quality digital education beyond COVID, no longer the Nations and learner's future be comprimised with poor digital substitutes! The session finalised with a deep dive into the "Creative Eduction is Priceless - Literally" Digital Mastery package that i've put out to support schools shifting from the "get grades" social sorting system into Creative talent development for all learners and ideas economy aligned Nations.
